About Resource 1 Homecare Staffing

Resource 1 was founded out of something deeply personal—the exceptional home health and hospice care my grandfather received during the final chapter of his life. His experience left a lasting impression on our entire family and became the inspiration behind everything we do.

My grandfather grew up a farm boy in rural West Texas, never venturing beyond the county lines until age 19. His life soon took a remarkable path: he served courageously as a bombardier in World War II and later as a jet fighter pilot during the Korean War. After his military service, he returned to his roots—his cherished farm—where he found peace in the familiar rhythms of the land he loved.

In his later years, it was compassionate home health and hospice professionals who made it possible for him to remain at home, surrounded by comfort, dignity, and family. Their care made all the difference.

At Resource 1, we honor that legacy by supporting the home health and hospice providers who bring that same level of care to families every day. We believe in the life-changing work of this community, and we’re proud to play a part—connecting mission-driven professionals with the organizations that need them most.
